«Megalopolis», 2020
Solid wood wrapped around the edges with jute thread.
Height/Width/Depth : 11 x 12 x 2 in
A metropolis has it all but someone must pay for it. It is an ongoing race for money and pleasure; an endless competition between strength and weakness; an imbalance between aggressiveness and humanity and between indifference and kindness. The strong man wins. Who is he?Black Cat Bacchus- the adventurer
This is the second story of Black Cat Bacchus- the adventurer. Now is not the best time to travel for humans, but it's just right for cats. This time Bacchus arrived in the country of “Surpandrej” (Surprise and Rejoice). In this country, the sheep are light and fluffy, like clouds. They rise to the sky in surprise and then fall.
They marvel at the size of the bewildered hippopotamus. The hippopotamus dances in surprise and tries to shake off the black and white sheep, which are preoccupied with the aquariums full of fish living in the hippo's belly. The sun escaped from the wreath of a beautiful green frog. It shattered into many fluffy balls and the frog is preparing to throw its red beads forward to collect all the balls and return them to the sun.

I created a series of paintings capturing the themes of the music and poetry in "The Four Seasons by Vivaldi." All four are painted on wood and wrapped around the edges with jute thread.
"The four seasons. Summer"
The summer is fragrant and filled with blooms standing upright like hundreds of colorful parasols by the Mediterranean Sea.

Hi M,
ReplyDeleteI love it. Another piece that's worthy of a gallery. The fine detail of it just draws you in for a closer look.
Интересно, как твоя новая картина совпала с "Пинк Флойд". Предполагая, что ты не была знакома с обложкой получился ещё один психоделический шедевр.
ReplyDeleteI like the crystalline look to it. It has a bit of a cubist feel to it, which is a style which has often been appealing to scientists and engineers.
ReplyDeleteI thought of planets against an alien landscape back drop. You have a good one as well.
ReplyDeleteSpring, which I liked a great deal. There was something about the geometrical nature which appealed to my engineering senses, and the contrast between the grey and vibrant rainbow-like colours. The new painting is also very striking, I'd go as far as describing it as 'psychedelic', it reminds me of images of the hippies from the 1960's or early Pink Floyd concerts where they projected swirling coloured oils lit from behind onto the walls.
ReplyDeleteI do like your artwork, it is a reflection of you and how you see the world.
ReplyDeleteJe pense très sincèrement que le moment est venu de faire l'état de tout ce qui avait été fait et frapper fort: faire une expo.
ReplyDeleteWonderfully balanced and very reflective of your interpretation of life. I love to look at them and always find something new in hiding. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThank you, my dear!
DeletePure magic dear Margarita. You shine talent.
ReplyDeleteIt takes me to a happy place dear Margarita
ReplyDeleteWhen I copied the comment by Anonymous on October 1 at 11:32 am into Google Translate it took me to a set of videos. This one

captures the affection and delight *I* see in your paintings. As one of the other commenters said: "Your perspective on life."
Ha-ha, this is great dance, but music is horrible. I need to add more paintings in the blog. They are much prettier in reality; colors have a different shade and the shadow of nails and 3D objects are so nice. I cannot do real pictures, I tried hundreds of times. It is so sad!
ReplyDeleteI was curious to hear your reaction to the music. The "composer" appears to be quite popular with a certain segment.
DeleteYes, it would be nice to see more of your work. Here is a separate blog done by a girlfriend.
http://rosegardenart.blogspot.com/ She sells photographs of herself as well as her paintings.
I agree about colors and shadows. I recently bought this piece
https://squishytulips.blogspot.com/2020/09/free-spirit.html
and was shocked (pleasantly surprised!) to see how much brighter the colors are in real life.
How much are the pieces in this post?
I like embroidery, not sure about paintings in rosegardenart. Probably some. Some pieces are very moody, I think. What painting from this post do you really like? I will tell you price.
ReplyDeleteThe Dutch are, like Germans, moody. ; - )
DeleteI like all three of the abstracts. I'd like to see the full image of each...from edge to edge. You could email if you don't want to disclose here. Email is at bottom of my profile on blog.
ReplyDeleteOk, I will be going through E-mail.
