Longwood Garden

Про Лонгвуд писала много раз и фотографировала во время всех сезонов последние лет 10, так что повторятся не буду. Без сомнения, это мой самый любимый сад в северной Америке. Если честно, я даже не знаю с каким парком или садом в Америке этот парк можно сравнить. Biltmore Estate, Montreal Botanical Garden, Hershey Gardens, милый Brookgreen Gardens не идут ни в какое сравнения с Лонгвудом. Читала, что красивый парк есть в Ванкувере, туда еще не добралась. Такое же восхищение, как Лонгвуд, вызвал у меня сад Сhâteau de Villandry во Франции (посмотреть можете здесь: https://margarita-lifefantasy.blogspot.com/2021/08/blog-post.html). В этот раз ездили вечером на шоу grand фонтанов и заодно, второй раз взглянуть на иллюминации Bruce Munro. Как и в первый раз инсталляции сильного впечатления не произвели за исключением двух. Они на первых фото. Все познается в сравнении, не правда ли!? А вот шоу фонтанов было великолепно, хотя в этом году не было салюта. Фото цветов, по моему, имеею прелестные оттенки, хотя снимала во время глубокого заката, солнце висело в 10 -15 градусах, а после - вообще ушло. Потому и цвета такие удивительные.  

I wrote about Longwood many times and photographed it during all seasons for the last 10 years, so I won’t repeat it. Without a doubt, this is my favorite garden in North America. To be honest, I don’t even know what parks or gardens in America can be compared with. Biltmore Estate, Montreal Botanical Garden, Hershey Gardens, and lovely Brookgreen Gardens are no real match for Longwood.
I read that there is a beautiful park in Vancouver, but I haven't got there yet. The Château de Villandry garden in France evoked the same admiration as Longwood (you can see it here: https://margarita-lifefantasy.blogspot.com/2021/08/blog-post.html). This time we went to the show of grand fountains in
the evening. At the same time, for the second time, to look at the illuminations of Bruce Munro. As in the first time, the installations did not make a strong impression, with the exception of two. They are in the first photo. Everything is relative, isn't it!? But the fountain show was great, although there were no fireworks this year. The photo of flowers, in my opinion, has lovely shades, although I shot it during a deep sunset, the sun hung at 10-15 degrees, and after that, it disappeared altogether. That's why the colors are so amazing.
